I was excited to meet the Clarks, one of my favorite families, at their house for our afternoon shoot. I couldn’t believe that it was 70+ degrees in February, after having the worst ice storm in 10 years, or something like that, not even a week before. That’s Texas for you! After spending some quality time together we headed out to brave the high winds. Trying to be eco conscious I planned both locations within 3 miles from our houses and hopped in their car. I was lucky enough to sit next to Brody as he happily snacked on his yummy M&M’s.
This family is so much fun and constantly on the move, I knew I had to put my running shoes on to enable me to keep up and capture the art in their true stories. Zealously I did. Check ‘em out!

My heart started pounding and butterflies filled my stomach from excitement when Andre and the kids arrived at the same park. Yes, after eleven years of marriage I still have those butterflies for Andre. Well anyway, we all played for hours after the shoot.
Andre brought an awesome kite that the wind kept pushing down. Nonetheless, we had a perfect day!
