month: April 2009

I had the pleasure of meeting, shooting, and falling in love with the newest addition to Andre’s family a few weekends ago in Houston. Meet sweet Abby, 19th grandchild to Andre’s parents.  ;)   I’m sure more will follow.

Another quick sneak peak. This one is for Lana’s sweet friend Karli. Karli was on the go throughout all of Mercer Arboretum & Botanic Gardens in Houston. I had a great time capturing her active spunkiness and the love that her parents have for her and each other. Beautiful!

Quick peak for Jamie and Josh from our e-session in Houston last weekend at Herman Park.

Andre and I had such a great time getting to know and shooting their sweet love. We can’t wait for their wedding!

One of my favorite things to do is to shoot someone that knows what they want and where they want it. When asked where Jen wanted to photograph her senior portraits, her great response was Six Flags where she spends most of her weekends. I picked her up, and on the drive there, we discussed her enlistment into the United States Air Force. We chit chatted the whole way. Already I thought this girl rocked! After arriving, her Mom (who drove separately) informed me that Jen was a vegetarian. This is a girl after my own heart.

Anessa and Jen, thank you for an awesome shoot and a fun day at Six Flags. Jen, you really rocked it!!! I wish you all the best in your Air Force journey. If you ever need AF advice I’m just a phone call or text away!

This past Saturday I had a blast working at Six Flags. Here’s a sneak peak at a SUPER fun Senior session with Jen.

I TRULY LOVE MY JOB!!! ;-) More to come soon!

At times I wonder how I get from one day to the next as time flies by faster than I can grasp. It seems like only a few years ago that I held my niece just hours after she was born. Only to be here now photographing her at 17 years old.

She’s truly growing up!
