It seems like not too long ago, they were new to saying I am a high school graduate (Class of 06 & 07).

Fast forward to the present where they proudly said “I do”.  Photographing these stages in their lives has brought such joy and satisfaction to my job.  Ah, I love what I do!!!

They worked as a wonderful team coordinating each detail of their wedding day.  Justin really step it up and was super attentive to everything Kayla needed.

Andre and I had a wonderful time capturing their love and unity.  We look forward to capturing so much more in their lives.

love these moments!bliss!in the moment!  true love!

Congratulations Kayla and Justin!  We wish you the best in your life and marriage together.

One of my new favorite dates with my husband is shooting weddings.  It’s the coming together of our ideas, perspectives, technical and artistic talents.  It’s knowing that he’s there for me and I’m there for him.  It’s our ability to make eye contact to communicate our needs and desires for capturing the day.  He’s my favorite person to photograph with and he’s without a doubt my favorite person to witness the unity of other couples as it enables us to live in the moment capturing one of life’s greatest emotions, L♥VE.

Brandee and Kenneth’s love is sweet and honest.  They have a sophisticated relationship that is undeniably real.  Their wedding was held at White Chapel UMC in Grapevine, TX.  The beautiful ceremony was followed by an elegant reception at the wonderful Gaylord Texan.

Andre and I are thankful they invited us along for such a wonderful event and a great date!  ; )  Who say’s you can’t have fun while you work or love your job with whom you are accomplishing it with!

I LOVE it when couples choose to have the see each other before the ceremony.  It gives them a beautiful private moment seeing other for the first time.  They’re able to exchange words of love right away and enjoy a few minutes of peace before the days events take over.

Brandee’s brother proudly walked her down the isle.

White Chapels immense sanctuary.

Love this moment!

Details at the Gaylord Texan were beautiful!  A beautiful venue for a wonderful wedding!

yummy cake!

Congratulation Brandee and Ken!  It was our pleasure to document your wedding day and your love for each other!

Life and business has been busy to say the least.  With this our blog has suffered. I will do my best to post our recent shoots and weddings within the next few weeks.  Starting with this sneak peak!

It’s always fun to photograph weddings, especially with Andre, often we feel like guests more than the photographers, but this time we were guests. LOL! Andre’s cousin Debby married Rudy in Houston a few weekends ago and we were happy to provide them the gift of photography.

Table shots do not usually make the blog, but these two were too much of a riot not to. They couldn’t stop laughing… and their laughter was overwhelmingly contagious!

And since we were guests at this wedding the kids were there under the care of their aunts and Mimi. They loved dancing with their cousins! Nate thinks it’s so cool that we get to party at weddings… hum, too bad we can’t tear up the dance floor like these kids did. LOL! Lana thought she was the leader of the group. Too cute!

Debbie did a great job picking out the grooms cake.

Debbie and Rudy, we wish you all the happiness in the world. You have worked hard and lovingly to be husband and wife and we couldn’t be more proud to be there to capture your special day. We love you!

We woke to thunder and lighting with a major down pore of rain. Saddened by the possibility of the reception being rained out, Andre and I rushed to the local Wal-Mart to purchase as many umbrellas as possible. Then I made the dreaded call to Jamie’s Mom Vickie to check on Jamie and to find out what the alternative plans would be after it had been raining all night, morning, and now day. The plan was to press on with the original plans with the reception being at Tankersly Gardens, and to no surprise to me Jamie was a little frazzled, but still in high spirits (Oh I LOVE her!). I was nervous, but knew for sure that Jamie and Josh would be singing, or should I say “dancing”, in the rain, if need be.

Thankfully, the skies cleared just as the ceremony was beginning at the church, and even though the forecast was to start raining again at 6:00PM the rain stayed away. The good Texas air and temperature soaked up most of the rain, which enabled everyone to have a wonderful evening and celebration at the gardens.
Andre and I had a wonderful time capturing the day as it unfolded and were honored to be a part of Jamie and Josh’s day.

Last weekend Andre and I had the pleasure of getting away for Jamie and Joshua’s wedding in Winnsboro, TX.

When we arrived we went strait to the rehearsal and then to the rehearsal dinner. We had a great time getting to know Jamie and Josh’s family. As the night progressed my heart fluttered with excitement and an overwhelming feeling of “ah, I LOVE my JOB and my wonderful clients”. I became overwhelmed with emotion when Jamie’s Mom Vicki gave us the below gifts for our baby boy. This was the first time for us to see his name in such a special way.  Thank you once again Vickie!!!  We will treasure these and your kindness always!

Ok, well I need to stop reminiscing and get back to working on this awesome wedding. More images to come.

The day was hot.  No, for real, I mean really HOT, 107º hot. But with the bride, groom, wedding party, and guests being so chill they kept it cool.  The sun set and things cooled down even more, making it the perfect temperature for a great time.

I had a wonderful time shooting Kristen and Jon’s wedding last weekend with the wonderfully technically talented Josh Rodriquez.

Amazing as love is between a man and woman on their wedding day, I get all weapy inside when I see unique love and dedication from the parents of the couple.  Kristen’s parents were so amazing to have planned and orchestrated the entire day.  Dad stepped up like I’ve never witnessed before.  Truly inspiring!  His toast was extra special describing Jon and Kristen’s “the rest of the story”.  Their love taking them back to the 6th grade.
